Every hour a pilot has ever flown usually lives in one stack of paper. It is the one record you cannot reprint. Hobbs takes a photograph of a page and returns structured flights: date, aircraft type, registration, pilot in command, single- and multi-engine time, instrument time, approaches, take-offs and landings, cross-country and route — the full CAR 401 layout.

Every field carries its own confidence score. Anything the model is unsure of is flagged in orange and waits for you, so a shaky reading can never slip silently into your logbook. Hobbs also totals the flights it read and compares them to the page's own printed Page Totals line — the page's built-in checksum. When they agree you get "This page adds up — the flights match the printed page totals." Nothing is saved until you confirm it.
